If the spheres are good you should be able to bounce each corner at the rear about 4"- 6" and at the front somewhat less but at least 2 - 3". I'd have said five years/50k is about right for sphere life. Just got rid of my 2000/X Xantia estate.Original spheres were replaced in 2007-8 and replacements were completely shot.
Good afternoon all I recently purchased a 2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDI which has "Suspension Fault" on the dash along with the service light. At the time the car was running perfectly but after I put some load in the boot the suspension dropped and is now at its lowest position bouncing along like its on clouds!
Re: Citroen C5 ns suspension clunking noise. by Ryarsh » Mon Sep 23, 2013 9:47 pm. Most noticeable over speed humps or pot holes when it is a clear clunk but over rough surfaced concrete roads would be more of a rattling noise. Front suspension seems quite firm but not hard as when a sphere has gone.
2008 citroen c5 for sale says there is a suspension problem any idea what it could be Most likely one or more of the hydraulic spheres are malfunctioning or even leaking ( a common problem). You should have it checked by a citroen mechanic as it can easily cost you upto $600-1000 if they need to be replaced (normally after 100.000-120.000 kms).
Mar 1, 2018 · LDS tank split (but I think that was a garage hanging all four wheels without first setting the car in top suspension) Front right suspension strut leak (but not surprising at 130,000 miles Here is an odd one For the past 30,000 miles hard acceleration in 5th there it is like a slipping clutch but no burning smell.
Sun 10 Apr 2016 20:42. Citroen C5 Mk III - Suspension issues - GT. I've got the Hydractive III+ suspension. I've noticed recently some odd things (I should point out I rarely use Sport mode, all the observations below are in Normal mode): (1) from Normal height, I used to press the 'down' button to lower it, the front would go down first
